STYLE SPOTLIGHT | OUR FLOTUS MICHELLE OBAMA / by EUREKA CALHOUN

Whoever the next president shall be, we can not deny the impeccable style Michelle Obama gifted us during the 2 terms as our FIRST LADY.  Through the years Mrs. Flotus has streamlined her look and found her personal style through high fashion. Michelle Obama has propelled some of the best underrated designers like Peter Pilotto, Jason Wu, and Tadashi Shoji into the limelight.  Not since the days of Jackie Kennedy Onassis has a First Lady developed such a coveted signature style emulated world wide. The epitome of class and elegance, Mrs. Obama has proven she is not afraid to push the limits of conservative style while serving as First Lady.  I love President Barack Obama and having the first African American as president of the United States was the highlight but the show-stealer was the ever so chic, Michelle Obama.  Check out some of some of my favorite fashion moments of our soon to be missed First Lady.  In the words of the Huffington post, "You can steal her speeches, but can't steal her SWAG!

Politics aside, Michelle Obama took her role as First Lady and made it her own.  She never let critics or the predisposed expectations stop her from keeping it classy at all times.  I'm really going to miss the entire family and know that we will likely never see another FLOTUS like Mrs. Obama!

Until Next Time With Love,
